Level 2 Mastermind

The Level 2 Mastermind Consists of specific screens designed to help treat common conditions and complaints. These screens are more advanced, creative applications of the Level 2 Certification Material.

Course Curriculum

Module One - Brainstem, Homunculus, Visualisation

  • Understand functional anatomy of the brainstem
  • Learn how to scan for increased bioelectric charge associated with the brainstem
  • Understand which cortical structures are involved in central pain processing
  • Understand that we can scan the Homunculi specifically
  • Learn how to test for Nociceptive pain
  • Understand the mechanisms involved in mental motor imagery
  • Learn how to utilise mental motor imagery in cases of pain and movement dysfunction/restriction
  • Understand that the viscera can also be scanned (pulse points) from the reference point of the Medulla
  • Understand that this is an open system the can be applied in many presentations and with the creativity of the practitioner

Module Two - Emotional Motor System

  • Learn the basic anatomy, and role of the volitional motor system and its divisions
  • Understand the basic anatomy, and role of the emotional motor system and its divisions
  • Understand the limitations of volitional contraction of the pelvic floor musculature
  • Understand the EMS modulation of the pelvic floor stimulating centres
  • Understand the EMS modulation of the pelvic organ stimulating centres
  • Learn the EMS modulation of the Respiratory centre
  • Understand the EMS modulation of intra abdominal and thoracic pressures
  • Understand the EMS modulation of the Nucleus Retro Ambiguus and its correlations with the Orbitofrontal cortex and subsequent connections in stuttering.
  • Understand the biomechanical considerations from at the foot and ankle associated with pelvic floor dysfunction and the relevance of the ventral horn technique to such presentations.

Module Three - Neuromechanics

  • Learn the functional anatomy associated with the peripheral nervous system
  • Understand the concept of tension and compression acting on the peripheral nerves
  • Understand the concept of inter-limb neural coupling¬†
  • Learn the specific calibrate assessment for increased charge associated with a peripheral nerve
  • Be able to actively mobilise and floss the upper and lower limb peripheral nerves

Module Four - Sleep

  • Understand functional anatomy associated with sleep and wake states
  • Understand basic physiology associated with the basic neurotransmitters
  • Learn how to assess for increased bioelectrical charge associated with arousal
  • Learn how to reset the body clock
  • Learn how to assess for increased bioelectrical charge associated with sleep
  • Understand the implications of the environment to circadian biology and sleep
